The story

Eighth hackathon, first one solo — ConUHacks, 800 participants, and a simple bet: students would study more if making flashcards weren’t the boring part. Flashify takes a PDF of notes and generates the deck automatically.

The pipeline extracts the text, converts it into clean bullet points, then generates question-answer pairs and supporting images for each card. The result renders as an interactive deck in a responsive UI. It shipped deployed — not a localhost demo — which, at hackathon number eight, was the real flex.
